Designing a new home is exciting, but it also brings an important question: how do you style your windows so they add comfort, beauty, and function from the very start? For this Holly Ridge homeowner, the answer was simple—tailored window treatments that matched the home’s fresh style and everyday needs.
Crafting Comfort and Style From the Start
The homeowner initially thought shutters in the front and something softer in the back would work. She also loved the look of banded shades, having used them before. With her designer, Kasey from Blue Heron, she explored ideas and leaned toward sheer shadings to bring in more light while still softening the look of her new home.
Together, we refined the design and guided her through multiple options and quotes until every detail matched her vision and budget. The final selections included:
- Graber Sheer Shades and Blinds – for a timeless, light-filtering look in the front rooms
- Alta Roller Shades – clean, practical coverage with modern simplicity
- Premier Banded Shades – a stylish choice for the sunroom, adding dimension and versatility
